We are excited that you have visited our site! We are a group of women from all stages of life that not only have a passion for helping others but who also truly enjoy one another’s company in our volunteering efforts.
We only meet once a month but we pack a lot of information in that meeting. At this time, we have two major fundraisers that require all of us to help with. We cater a dinner for the Manassas Host Lions $10,000 Raffle in March. In April, we hold our annual Fashion Show. Our service projects include two Bingo’s a month, providing school supplies, providing Operation Turkey baskets and providing Christmas for a family. We have collected supplies for our soldiers and have also visited the wounded at Walter Reed Hospital. We have a city street that we pick up trash and keep clean three times a year. On a continuous basis, we collect eye glasses, hearing aids, inkjet cartridges and other items for recycling purposes. Throughout these many projects, we also make time for fun and fellowship!!! Our Board of Directors also meets once a month to take care of much of the business as possible so that our dinner meetings are not too lengthy. We truly do SERVE in Lionism. |
